Who we are

What we collect

• Details you give us in quote and contact forms: name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you are interested in and any message.
• Information you share later, such as photos of your roof, energy bills and property details needed to design and install a system.
• Basic technical data your browser sends (such as IP address and browser type), used to keep the site secure and stop spam.

How we use it and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote — steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
• To survey, install, register (for example with your network operator) and support your system — performance of a contract and legal obligation.
• To keep records for warranties, tax and accounting — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
• To protect the website from abuse — legitimate interests.

We do not sell your data and we will not send you marketing unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Only where needed: our hosting and email providers, installers and electricians working with us, equipment manufacturers for warranty registration, your electricity network operator, certification bodies, and finance providers if you choose to apply for finance. All are required to protect your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted within 24 months. Customer records are kept for as long as your warranties last and at least 6 years for legal and tax purposes.

Cookies

This website uses essential storage needed for it to work, such as remembering your cookie choice. We only use analytics cookies if you choose "Accept cookies" on our consent banner, and you can decline without affecting how the site works. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy to move elsewhere. Email info@pinnacleenergygroup.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
